This is a gorgeous cutting board. It's a great size at 18" x 12" overall and it features a routed perimeter to hold juices and a recessed well that serves as a juice reservoir. Made from heavy rubberwood this is a cutting board that you will use for a very long time. Note: Rubberwood is a light-colored medium-density tropical hardwood obtained from the Pará rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis), usually from trees grown in rubber plantations. Rubberwood is commonly advertised as an "environmentally friendly" wood, as it makes use of plantation trees that have already served a useful function. Gift boxed.
